What kind of jacket goes with a little black dress? - little black dress

I have a class next reuinoin until mid-October. I decided to wear a black dress, but you do not know what kind of jacket to wear. Must be a kind of thrill at the time (I live in the north of Tennessee), so that a regular layer can be difficult, but I do not think any kind of jacket that would look good in a black dress. Suggestions?
